The work is continuous and a steady paycheck is great. Some of the benefits are helpful.

Cons

The workloads keep increasing, without hiring more employees. The pay is somewhat competitive, but could be much better.

The best job anyone looking for entry-level experience in law enforcement can get. - Get your own Patrol vehicle (red/blues, Ford F-150's) - Able to issue citations/tickets - Coworkers and management generally great to work with - Every day is pretty different, never know if its going to be slow to non-stop action - Awesome Training program and field experience - Good foot-in-the-door for connections within County

Cons

- They are really reluctant to give even one day off to you throughout the summer - Absolutely required to work all holidays - Pay at $10.25 is horrible. The risks involved with this job can be life-threatening and the work is long and exhausting. Honestly the pay is just disrespectful to the employees.
