Pros
Laserfiche has been churning out quality software to an enormous user base for decades, and it's nice to work for a steady company with such a long history. I have had very good experiences with Laserfiche, I have a great manager and a lot of really fun, personable coworkers. The company says they have great perks and before COVID and everyone working from home, they really did. My job very felt very secure, even if I messed up I would likely be forgiven, which I think is a good way to run a business.
Cons
Sometimes people get promoted seeming at random, which disincentives hard work. As alluded to in the "Pros" section, when COVID hit, despite this business being in the perfect industry to succeed and despite, from what I can tell, doing pretty well, during this time, the perks of working here all but disappeared. One would think that a small hit to revenue would mean a small hit to perks but what it seems happened was a relatively small loss of revenue gave management an excuse to completely wipe out perks. No more free lunch, no more great in-person working environment, no more generous 401k match, no more good holiday parties (holiday parties suck now). But I hope this all gets resolved when they allow people to move back to the office. Also, management is very strict on where you work, so don't expect to leave the state without taking vacation.
