Pros

working at Laserfiche has been a fantastic experience. I'm not even kidding. From the moment I started, everyone was just so helpful and the whole team is super collaborative. The work itself is challenging, but in a good way, and it feels like what we do actually makes a difference for our customers. If you're looking for a good company that's smart and actually cares about its employees, you should totally check out Laserfiche.

Cons

Things change fast and project shift midflight because technology changes. You got to be adaptable and ready to change or be completely disappointed. Work loads can vary greatly. There is a heavy focus on security. Sometimes you have to work on legacy systems.

Pros

- Great benefits package. Excellent 401k match and benefits options. - Role mobility. This past round of reviews saw a lot of people moving between rolls/departments and a number of folks got promotions/raises. There is a formal employee development program. - Hybrid with flexibility. The company is back to "mandatory" 3 days a week in office as of 2025. However, depending on your immediate manager, there is still a lot of flexibility when it comes to being in office. As long as you have a reason to WFH and make an effort to come in otherwise, supervisors are generally fine if you take an occasional WFH day mid-week or leave early to finish the day at home.

Cons

- Lack of direction/communication. Executive leadership talks past each other and can't seem to come to a consensus on what the company does, let alone what we should be doing collectively. Because of that, there is a tendency for different departments to barrel forward without checking in, resulting in wasted labor and double work. - Remnants of toxic company culture. There was a major shakeup in leadership and at the company overall in the last 2 years. Because of that you have a distinct difference between the new hires and the old guard. The old guard is often hesitant to act and puts too much emphasis on legacy processes that don't work. The new hires are often confused by the skittishness of the veteran employees and are waiting for the other shoe to drop. I've yet to see anything truly awful materialize (just normal company politics), but people keep saying to watch out.
