The supervisors were all extremely friendly and helpful. There are tons of knowledgeable people to learn from. The projects are also quite interesting and challenged me to learn new things.

People are great, and what you get to work on is amazing. Work here for those reasons alone. Physics department pays it's postdocs above national average. Benefits are fine to mediocre. The coverage itself is fine, but the insurance company UC system relies on is terrible and unhelpful. It's currently difficult to get food at the lab, and most of us are still remote. I will gladly bump the rating up to 4 stars when the cafeteria opens again.
