      It is a very good lab for postdocs. Paid relatively high. Life and work balance is pretty good.

      Cons

      Living expense is high. hard to get permanent position.

      Great minds work here. Inter disciplinary collaboration. Lots of smart people. Research topics are relevant to societies most pressing problems

      Cons

      hard to get your name on a paper. Labs conditions leave much to be desired (is the case for Earth Science)

      Pros

      Benefits are great! This organization makes sure it's employees continue to develop their skills. World class science takes place here. Very diverse workforce, including people from all walks of life which makes this place rich with experience. Activities for employee moral building are great!

      Cons

      Parking, not enough of it. Parking system is segregated by rank in job code and salary. Cafeteria food.
