They give an excellent case study for companies that are completely void of moral integrity and are motivated completely by greed.

Cons

- They acquire smaller companies with money they get from a business loan, then turn around and make that small company they just acquired pay the loan payments. - They are planning to sell the company to the highest bidder and will stop at nothing to look more valuable on paper, while they completely destroy smaller companies.

- Some really great individuals keeping the company afloat - Technology and resources are modern - Unlimited PTO - Middle management - Parental leave has improved

Cons

- Poor company-wide and individual product direction - Almost no incentive for hard work (no bonuses) - Corporate & HR are fairly ineffective at steering large distributed company as VC applies decoupled vision - Outsourcing dev work to India while laying off state-side without adjusting for results
