First, I am sorry for your experience at Leaf Group. This is not the experience we want anyone to have on the Finance and Accounting team. This can't have been pleasant for you and I empathize with the frustration you must have felt. Second, we'd like to note that there is no policy of no annual raises. Our policy is that we don't do automatic cost of living raises. However, we do promote and reward based on performance. If an employee is dedicated, works hard and does their best to further themselves and the company, an employee will be recognized and rewarded. This has been communicated several ways since we announced the change. We understand that transition is hard for some and as the company does its best to come up with strategies to grow, it will not be the best place for everyone and we wish those who move on to other places the very best. Please note our goal is to always attract those dedicated to putting people first, growing the businesses, adaptable to change for the betterment of the company, and who can be inspirational no matter what their title is. This is how we are going to win as a company. It's our people that make the difference. I would like to emphasize to any existing employees to please talk to your manager if you are experiencing the same feelings. We do not want our employees to feel this way about their team.
