Pros

I came to LeagueApps from a much larger company with a belief that I could step up, become a difference-maker in the organization, and ultimately be promoted more quickly than I would have in a larger company. In 4+ years I have been promoted 4 times. LeagueApps has delivered opportunity after opportunity to step up, take ownership, and fulfill what I ultimately believed starting out at the company. Impactful SaaS solution that helps youth sports organizers save time, grow their programs, and provide a better experience for players, parents, and coaches. I've been on a lot of teams athletically, academically, and professionally and the collection of LeagueApps teammates across the years are as high-quality (in terms of their skills and accomplishments) and high-character as I have ever come across in my career. A culture built around 9 Core Values (Sportsmanship - Passion - Openness - Results - Team - Student of the Game - Own Your Role - Grit) that any athlete or professional would be proud to epitomize puts employees in a position to step up and make a difference not only in their department/team but across the company as a whole. The people and the culture make LeagueApps a special place to work.

Cons

Growing pains typical of a high-growth company. LeagueApps tends to move and iterate extremely fast so there are times when there are miscommunications and inefficiencies in our processes.

Pros

Getting the opportunity to work with the most talented, kind, funny, and driven team in the business. We are truly building a community within youth sports and we're doing it together. The leadership team truly values people & culture. We are constantly iterating on our policies and benefits to ensure we're building a culture of inclusion. We never want people to feel like they have to choose between their families at home and their work family. We also know we don't always get it right, but we are committed to continuing to do better and be better personally and professionally. It's truly rare to see this type of approach in a startup that's growing as quickly as we are. I feel privileged to be a part of our community.

Cons

We don't always get it right. We're all learning. Sometimes you have to advocate fiercely for what's important to you. Whether that's personal development, budget to support an initiative you believe in, or additional headcount to grow your department. As long as you have the data to support what you're asking for a present it in a way in which leaders understand, you are ensured a listening ear. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it.

Pros

LeagueApps is a winning sports technology company becoming a champion in the space that serves it's employees well. Culture is always emphasized and encouraged for everyone to embody the values. Management is transparent on what goals you need to achieve in order to be successful. CEO and President are understanding and will go out of their way to help. Management leaders are approachable and always willing to put their employees in position to succeed. When you are successful, compensation is rewarded nicely. The employees are courteous of others and are friendly in helping with any questions you have. The culture is tight-knit. There are a lot of lessons you can learn in becoming a more well rounded professional.

Cons

Make sure you go out of your way if you are struggling, you need to be an advocate for success and work really hard. Salary for a recent college graduate is tight in NYC( find people to live with to help lower the cost of living). Upward mobility of career path is not fully defined.
