Pros

My school is in a wonderful community, a high socio-economic area, with parents that are involved. Co-workers are great and passionate about educations.

Cons

Low morale for staff due to administration not respecting time, or the lack there of to plan. More and more tasks are thrown onto teachers' plates, instead of simplifying processes. Low pay.

Growing district that still tries for a small town feel.

Cons

Their systems have not kept up with the times. Nor do they value the support staff enough. We are going to wither and die if we don't upgrade our technology and provide well trained staff to support our phenomenal teachers.

Pros

Very flexible. Lots of options of where to work. Can work mainly while the kids are in school. Excellent software system so it is easy to figure out where there is available work.

Cons

Pay is not very exciting. Hard to attract and keep top quality people into the field when the entry pay is so low, especially for those making a mid career switch.
