An ok place to work, but not a place for a career. You won't move up unless you are good friends with senior management

Friendly bosses, no one micromanaging you and you are free to deliver the project on your terms

Cons

A lot of office politics, backstabbing and promotion is based on who you know, not how hard you work. Pay is low

Strong safety environment. Trying to expand through out North America. Family oriented!!

Cons

A little slow at pushing out new change. Senior level management needs to be more proactive and leave the"Ivory Towers" and see the decisions they make there reality.

Pros

Bonded to take on large projects. Lots of upstream resources. Pay was decent. A fair amount of autonomy especially if you are not in the office. There are some good and smart people there.

Cons

Never felt like I was sincerely appreciated for the work I did. It seemed that no matter what I did, I should have also thought of x, y, and z as well. Never mind that I was already doing 2-3 other people's jobs. Manager liked to build dysfunctional project teams because he liked the conflict. It wasn't productive conflict, just plain conflict that sapped the energy of the project and made you dread going to work.
