They do not understand the value of SDRs within an organization. They do not give you the support you need. Within the first 60 days I was employed they fired both the director of sales and the sales development manager and left me hanging. The CRO would schedule 40 minute meetings with me on his calendar and then only talk to me for 6 minutes. Didn't ask any questions about the accounts I wanted to chase, didn't give feedback on suggestions, didn't care that I was watching webinars on my own time, didn't care about successful strategies other SDRs were finding, etc. Sales meetings were a joke. I would get on and he would ask people for their numbers, tell them everything they were doing wrong, and then he would say "okay everyone, get after it" as if that is motivation after seeing blank and check out faced on Zoom. It's unreal how little they care and invest in their sales org. You can get a better job at a company that understands and values SDRs, this company will not provide the support and trainings within their industry. When they say "inclusive culture" is a priority, they certainly aren't providing it, especially the chief revenue officer.
