Pros

Benefits, some co-workers, free soda day, weekly pay, provided box cutter.

Cons

Excessive overtime. Overflowing with management but not enough floor staff to meet invoicing levels in receiving and shipping. Mismanagement led to plant closure.

Pros

Average pay for the industry with good benefits (company car, health ins, 401K matching, etc.)

Cons

Legrand was a initially a great place to work and I had planned to retire there. Unfortunately, It became increasing WOKE starting in 2017-18 with an aggressive DEI agenda by setting quotas for the percentages of women and minorities that needed to be in upper management for the coming years. Promotions and hiring became based on everything but-skill set, industry experience, merit, etc. Some Legrand companies suffered significantly financial loses because of these management decisions (Q-Motion & Solarfective) If you're female and or person of color-definitely apply. Don't waste your time if you are a white male over 45. Its sad how many dedicated long term employees were let go over the past 8-10 years.

Pros

Good coworkers Pays the bills Remote work

Cons

The company focus is cost reduction. They try to get as much out of you as they can, while doing as little for their employees as they can. Little appreciation is ever shown. They try to push you to take on so much that if you aren’t careful you will have no outside life. The benefits are lacking. 401k is comparable to other companies. Health insurance is ok but the cost for it is high. Only 16 PTO days and there is no separate sick time. Pay is way below average. Raises are 0 or minimal. Many of the employees are interns which results in a lot of turn over.
