      Pros

      Leidos has a wealth of internal professional resources available for free. The back office services are very well executed (HR, payroll, etc.). There are a large number of programs one may potentially participate in, provided you are willing to relocate.

      Cons

      Disconnect between senior executives and line divisions. Dead wood not cleaned out, good people get burned out. Predominantly US Government client base demands adherence to project management standards but refuses to pay for them. The business development cycle is moribund.

      Management of LEIDOS, at least where I am.

      Pros

      The Benefits are pretty good, and salaries are comparable.

      Cons

      Almost impossible to get a promotion. Leadership here, unaware of their roles and responsibilities as manager, or supervisor. When they put someone in these roles who have never been, is there not some sort of instructional class they can go through? Very Frustrating for an old timer.
