Amazing People, Just Okay Business
Pros
- Best boss I will probably ever have, hands down, no question - That best boss statement goes up higher, his boss and his boss' boss knew me by name and were also extremely smart, good people who had an interest in my success - Lots of freedom to dictate work in jobs that interest you - Large company with a small company feel in all the best ways - Teammates were great; culture was strong even working with many sub-contractors - Rewarded success monetarily, but usually only if asked/pushed
Cons
- Business is slow, same project can last quite a while - No real business development efforts in Southern California - Really don't see growth, although the new CEO seems to have his head on straight - Smart people, but not across-the-board brilliant, those ones get poached quickly
