      Pros

      Flexible schedules at most offices is very nice. Atmosphere is very laid back, casual. People are frequently promoted by applying themselves and they frequently promote from within

      Cons

      Recently made major cuts in our 401k. The past 2 years raises across the board have been less than 2% for production staff. Health Insurance costs nearly tripled with worse coverage. This was all in the name of "being competitive in the market" . I get that, sort of. What I dont get is we have not adjusted our proposals and continuously get out bid by competitors. We've lost solid prime government contracts and continue to lose bids because our cost is too high.

      Have received great work experience. Increased job skills and knowledge. Boosted resume

      Cons

      Good ol' boy system, if you know someone who works here you'll move up and get a promotion quickly. Pay does not equal the amount of work and responsibilities you take on.

      Pros

      The folks I work with are great, and our work load is manageble enough to where stress is low.

      Cons

      The overall environment is no longer positive, especially after those of us reamining saw that a reorganization was actually a massive layoff in disguise. Some have a misguided gratitude because they got to keep their jobs (a hard-nosed principal that filters down from the corporate leadership), but when you see so many get sent packing, it is obvious that leadership places little value on the workforce.
