Pros

I enjoyed my time here and sadly my section of the company was let go. I would say the pros would be management actually is caring about their employees. I've been on the side of management and a low level worker and for atleast my experience, I only had one not good experience with a manager but everyone else I've interacted with wanted to see everyone succeed and be better.

Cons

I don't really know of any bad cons. I worked from home and the type of work lending tree offers isn't something that you'd feel bad working at as long as the general public understands that they aren't a lender.

Pros

LendingTree had a decent culture and work life balance. the office in Charlotte was very nice. Managers and higher ups were generally smart and capable and reasonable.

Cons

Sometimes hard to get people to solve problems creatively and think about the future of the company and new ways of doing business

Pros

The people you work with are great

Cons

Work from home is off the table. Don't ask for it because you won't get get it. From the CEO down, management is stuck in an old school mentality of workers in cubicles while their competition is not. CEO even said he would require 5 days in office if it was up to him. CEO is totally out of touch with the company and doesn't even come into the office himself. Lays off employees while he and the rest of the crowded C-suite cash huge checks

We value your input regarding your time at LendingTree. Our approach to remote work is shaped by several key factors, including the need to maintain a cohesive team environment and uphold optimal productivity standards. Recognizing that transitioning to a hybrid model represented a significant change for our team members, we took measures to ensure a smooth adaptation. We provided our employees with an extended transition period, facilitating their shift from a fully remote setup to embracing our new hybrid policy. Our hybrid model approach still allows for flexibility, and we want our employees to be empowered to do their best work with a schedule that suits them best.    During this transition, we also took careful consideration of various circumstances. This included acknowledging the challenges faced by those who do not reside within commutable distances and accommodating individuals with exceptional circumstances. We're committed to creating a work environment that caters to diverse needs.  Your input will aid us in fostering an environment that strikes the right balance between our collective goals and the well-being of our team members.  Thank you, LendingTree Human Resources Department
