      Sad to leave, yet knew it was coming

      Pros

      Not having to work at plant, Fun at times Work was very challenging

      Cons

      They have been doing personnel cut-backs in the hundreds each time. Very hard to plan on long term employment due to reductions in force Managers used Florida's right to work status as a constant threat, will fire for no needed reason No room for company growth Jobs are based on who you know, not what you know. Very poor communication

      Pros

      Great benefits, salary, and people. I enjoyed working there for several years and don't regret one second.

      Cons

      Hard economic times are really reeking havoc on the company's bottom-line. Difficult to say from one day to the next if your position will be retained. Hopefully this is short lived and DRS will regain its' status as a defense contractor.

      Pros

      Great technology. Great co workers. A great group of VP/GMs across the board. Pay and compensation was great. Benefits were also great. Two thumbs up.

      Cons

      Struggling with the declining defense market. Seems like management is too focused on the next quarters earnings instead of really focusing on the future direction of the company.
