Pros

Excellent pay, Medical and dental benefits are better than most anywhere else, 401k matching, 12 paid holidays annually and paid vacations, weekly meetings with upper management to discuss anything that may be going on, so communication is great between higher ups and lower level employees. Good chance of advancement for those who want to move up.

Cons

Not many opportunities for overtime, so if you rely on it, you won't get it here. Upper management runs a "tight ship" so to speak, and policies are strictly enforced. If you have a hard time following strict guidelines and procedures, this is definitely not the place for you. Employees who can't adjust seem to disappear rather quickly. But, I suppose that is part of the reason the company is so successful.

Pros

Well organized, ISO/AS 9000 defense contractor. Treated with respect. Quarterly luncheons off-site for all employees (1000+) informing employees of past performance and future goals. This is in a town-hall format that solicits candid questions/answers from anyone who wishes to speak up. Pay is low, but competitive with other companies in town. Lots of minorities in key supervisory/management positions. Key personnel have worked their way up at the company. 25 year employees are not uncommon. 401k matching.

Cons

25 year employees may not want to change things. Employer contribution for health insurance is minimal. Manufacturing department can be hectic and stressful. Typical blaming goes on, but most company's are that way.
