      Pros

      The benefits are okay. Compensation/salary has been okay in my experience.

      Cons

      There is a lack of communication on all levels. Senior management makes what seems to be sudden decisions/changes without getting input from employees or middle management. Support functions are not very supportive. There is a lack of real leadership from some middle managers and no consistency between the different divisions. So depending on which group you work for you could have a great experience or an awful one.

      Pros

      DRS has been a very good company to me and I am proud to be associated with a company helps protect the men and women that serve in our armed forces. I have had promotional opportunities, have been treated fairly and enjoy what I do.

      Cons

      My only challenge is the traffic in the WDC metro area.

      Small defense manufacturing that allowed for a great Supply Chain learning experience

      Pros

      As an intern, immediately felt the impact I was making within the Supply Chain. Was able to learn about and work with a variety of functional departments such as IT, Procurement, Operations, and Shipping/Receiving.

      Cons

      Commute through the Washington Beltway is a bear. Felt that the lines of communication needed to be more open; occasional lack of collaboration.
