Pros

Good benefits. Part of a large company so the 401K, insurance, etc. are all very good.

Cons

Management in the local area as well as the offices in St. Louis are clueless about how to effectively manage people for a company to be successful. On top of this, there are a few "rotten apples in the barrel" that even further dragging the company under. A general culture of stabbing people in the back to promote yourself is rampant. Future is really uncertain.

Pros

The company has many challenging projects involving difficult problems in software, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. You will not be bored and there are many problems to fix and solve. Lots of hands on work in labs to keep you from sitting in a cubicle

Cons

The hours can be long and include weekends and holidays when deadlines need to be met. Lots of process involved because of government contracts and tracking requirements and hours etc. The company environment is too formal for the type of work and can stifle creativity. Building is old and location is not desirable.

Good but really bad...

Pros

Compensation is great! Opportunities for advancement and training are present. Educational programs (tuition assistance) are there for you. This company is very strong with highering the military.

Cons

Red tape, internal politics and office antics are overwhelming. Matrixed teams but functional silos (structure doesn't match workload). Company is very 1980. 9-5. Needs to modernize its work culture.
