Pros

Leviathan has always managed to attract great people and clients. There is a lot of interesting and challenging work to do, its a great place to learn.

Cons

Leviathan has a chaotic, reactive work environment sometimes resulting in some employees double booked or working long hours to meet deadlines while others sit on the bench. This has been a recurring theme amongst former employees. Promises of changes to structure, compensation, and promotion opportunities are often made at big company meetings and often in private, which are never fulfilled. Instead of addressing the unfulfilled promises management assumes everyone will forget and continues on as normal. Long-term retention of talent has been difficult for them with a high rate of turnover amongst senior staff, often due to burn out. Unrealistic expectations combined with compensation disparities between employees leaves staff frustrated and ultimately drives them to new opportunities.

Pros

Despite the numerous cons, some team members were a pleasure to work with: smart, talented, and known in their industry. This pro no longer matters, as mass exodus has seen all talent out the door and off to greener pastures.

Cons

Just a few of the cons, without exaggeration or embellishment: - rampant politics, gossip, harassment, threats, and innuendo. no HR. - substance abuse the norm. filthy workplace. - unqualified, inexperienced executive management - as previously stated, the CEO is a pathological liar - no real business plan. chaotic, relentless workplace - lack of complete financial records on the books - compensation and benefits were terrible and unstable. stock options are worthless - customers beware: the mute button keeps you from hearing them ridicule you during calls

Mass exodus of talent

Pros

When I first started it was a good place to work. There were many senior people, all of whom I learned things from. It was a great place to cut your teeth on consulting.

Cons

Management doesn't listen to its people. People were burnt out, tired, depressed. Some people were working 80 hours a week, others were stuck on the bench for weeks or months. So the talent left. In the span of six months every senior employee left for greener pastures. The company is now a shell of its former self.
