      Learned a great deal in a (still) family business

      Pros

      The Leviton family members are the reason to work here, there is tremendous 2-way loyalty to good employees.

      Cons

      Influx of consultants who have moved into executive positions, and still act like consultants instead of leaders or even decent managers, bringing in favoritism and other problems into an otherwise healthy work environment.

      Pros

      Lots of work that is pertinent to the company. They do a lot of promoting from within. There was a lot of team work within my department with good direct leadership.

      Cons

      Total bureaucracy with upper level management. Pay levels were way under the national average but it could have also been the location where I worked. Crappy work life balance and sometimes seemed like they expected everything from the employee without giving anything back.
