Pros

Great environment and friendly staff

Cons

They hire employee for part time and work them 32+hours and employee still has to pay part time benefit rates instead of paying lower rates like full time employee pay. Gift shop does not give refund until payroll cycle ends, knowing your items you purchased will be deducted from your check they make you wait up to 14 days even if you return item 5 days before pay day. If you purchase something better pay cash . Very difficult to transfer to different departments unless you know someone.

Pros

Immediate insurance with excellent paid time off. You can build a long lasting career. Often raising pay scales to increase the hiring pool.

Cons

Certain departments do not receive adequate funds for their needs. (Nutrition, EVS). Their budgets do not allow for upgrades and proper equipment.
