Pros

- Stable company with consistent workload. - Exposure to real-world public safety prod.

Cons

- Leadership culture feels insular, with many leads closely connected, which can limit diverse perspectives - Lack of gender diversity in technical roles; most women are in non-technical positions - Contributors at lower levels often do not receive the recognition or respect they deserve - No clear or transparent path for career growth or escalation - Heavy reliance on contractors, many of whom lack long-term career opportunities within the company - Push to adopt AI across projects without a clearly defined strategy or understanding of its practical use cases

Building an inclusive culture means ensuring contributors have clear growth paths, meaningful recognition, and opportunities to help shape important decisions. We recognize the concerns raised here, particularly around career progression and clarity on how AI is being applied. Work is currently underway to define and document career paths and competencies across all functions at Lexipol, and to bring more practical clarity to our AI strategy. We value diverse perspectives in that process and encourage employees to continue raising ideas and feedback with their leaders. We're proud than half of our technical IT leaders who run departments are female with many serving as mentors to others and leading in various ways across the organization.

Pros

Working with the first responders.

Cons

No career growth for SDR’s. Expectations from Management are very high and not grounded in reality. Numerous pay cuts. I’d avoid this role for the time being. GTM is in disarray

The SDR role is demanding, and career growth, achievable expectations, and clear compensation are essential to making it a strong experience. Career paths are in place for both SDR and AE roles, but we recognize they need to feel clear, attainable, and supported day to day. While recent GTM changes have created uncertainty for some team members, base pay has not been reduced, and we continue to evaluate total compensation and development opportunities for these roles.

Clear role expectations and well-defined responsibilities are important to employee success. Work is underway to better document responsibilities, career paths, and competencies so employees and managers have clearer alignment. We appreciate the feedback and will continue strengthening how expectations are communicated and supported.
