Pros

Ostensibly professional development of what the employees want to do with their careers is taken into consideration when first line management assists employees in career development plans. On the surface this looks like a good thing but it appears to be poorly implemented.

Cons

Management decisions are made that appear to be fabricated from something other than sound logic. As in most mid - large size companies people who are promoted to management rarely have the skills needed to be good leaders. There are some exceptions but they are few.

Pros

Very helpful co-workers that I learned a lot from. Great collaboration among teammates in order to get the job done. You are not micro managed. Vacation, sick and personal days are rolled into one and they call it PTO. and is pretty standard for most companies.

Cons

Burdened with unnecessary reports to fill out that had to be done in duplicate and triplicate. Lack of direction by middle management. Technology is old.
