Pros

The employee base is made up of genuinely nice people and the on-site cafeteria is good. Also, the Kentucky countryside is beautiful.

Cons

My first day on the job, I was absolutely stunned with the overall state of the company -- clearly one of those: "What have I gotten myself into?" moments. Corporate strategy is grossly out of touch with the competition and current trends. Management is stacked and heavy-handed (micro-managing thrives); no employee morale; antiquated IT systems (Lotus Notes for e-mail? I thought that went out in the 90's.)

Pros

Very flexible atmosphere. They are willing to let you come and go as you please (or they don't know any better).

Cons

I never felt as if my effort yielded opportunities to grow to new heights within the company. They were very late to offer promotions and pay raises.

Pros

Good coworkers, flexible with families. Direct management team is very good, responsive, and involved in best interest of team members across the organization.

Cons

Continuous restructuring leads to lots of uncertainty. Seems like executive management takes very reactive decisions without consideration for a long term perspective.
