Pros

Lexmark has a lot of good people working for it and currently produces a good and competitive printer product line.

Cons

Lexmark currently appears to be after only short term goals and exporting jobs to their off-shore locations where employees are much cheaper and much less experienced. So, while such moves may look good on a balance sheet, I fear that they are losing valuable experience for short term gains. Because of these types of moves morale is very low.

Pros

Good work and life balance. Flexible working hours.

Cons

Leadership is too conservative and unwilling to try new projects, looks too much at industry and competitors for direction. Aggressive outsourcing to Philippines and India.

Pros

Good solutions organization with strong managed print experience. The ability to rally to close enterprise customers. Overall sales tools are some of the best. Good overall training.

Cons

Has lately made too many cuts to keep moral positive. Very political company with very little upward mobility outside of head quarters. Never really had a good sales culture. Presidents clubs are for employee only and many times have to share rooms to keep costs down. Presidents clubs are typically in the US in California or Florida.
