The management here overall is atrocious. All promotions in my department seem to be politically or “teachers pet” driven, vs the ability to ACTUALLY do the job. There have been monthly layoffs and re-orgs like clockwork, so you are just updating your resume and praying that you get to keep your job every month. The ELT couldn’t care less about us, you are only a number in their eyes. They changed the performance review structure so that they can cheap out and pay us less money out in bonuses. Do not recommend getting a job here, unless you love live in anxiety and fear on a regular basis.
