Pros

Supportive Culture & Mentorship: TechStart provides a strong, supportive environment for new grads to transition from university, with helpful colleagues and managers. Work-Life Balance: Many employees highlight flexible hours and a hybrid work model. Learning & Growth: The program offers structured training and opportunities to work on diverse, meaningful, and modern tech projects.

Cons

Lower Compensation: Pay is frequently described as lower, especially compared to specialized tech companies. Slow Career Progression: The promotion process is described as corporate, slow, and sometimes favoring tenure over skill.

Pros

Great money, seeing some of the country, even if it’s only from you car.

Cons

Expectations exceed reality. They will work you into the ground , the hours you put in will be so much that it’s a higher rate of pay at McDonalds . They will pip you out of they don’t get the return they want . They will raise your daily work load if they have to much overhead until you quit or go out on leave. Many people in all various departments are not happy .
