Absolutely horrible management.
Sexual assault/harassment and racism is so obvious but ignored because any whistleblower is retaliated against, but management is smart enough to know how to retaliate without it being legally provable.
I had a hostile workplace complaint upheld by HR but a year later, to the month I submitted it, I was targeted and written up for either petty or manufactured "concerns". The harassment got so bad I had to resign and submit a formal complaint.
The arrogant, clueless leadership is underpinned by their mistreatment of others. This standard by management is trickled down to everyone, and your coworkers eventually learn to adopt this malevolent way of thinking in order to either preserve their underpaid positions, to appeal to the toxic colleagues, or both.
This company comes off as inclusive, progressive and welcoming, but they're some of the most ignorant, shameless, sanctimonious bullies to ever cash a paycheck. It's sickening.
Lastly, Liberty Science Center is more about making money then they are about science. They are unashamed of their high turnover rate as it means they'll be better off hiring new people at lower pay rates than promoting and keeping those who know what they're doing. This shouldn't be surprising, because their CEO has a video in the administration office that plays on a loop, where he narrates how much he admires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and J.P. Morgan; people who notoriously value money over people.
Advice for those interested in applying -- Seek healthier job opportunities over playful landscapes. Not all that glitters is gold.
