Pros

Opportunity to try new and creative programs, interact with the public, reader advisory, and develop great tech and interpersonal skills. Best part was working under a good branch manager and having great coworkers.

Cons

Salary increases are slow and problematic employees remain employed while difficult visitors have a lot of leeway. Each branch had a distinctive feel, which meant some were vastly more fun to work for than others.
