Pros

Decent pay, a lot of management are incompetent or dislike the company so every one had a mutual dislike for the company which makes things easier

Cons

Long hours laborious work, you spend most of your time as a cashier than actually managing. Poor hour location and stingy with staff. Next to no training

Pros

You get to meet so many people. You are given responsibilities and tasks. Your pay does increase the longer you are there. You get double pay on bank holidays and time and a half in Sunday's. There are so many different roles within a sales assistant job, cashier, baker, packer, freshness monitor, warehouse responsible person and floor manager. You get paid for every MINUTE worked.

Cons

The packers hours starts at 3am. You don't get regular breaks, ie you could be waiting 5+ hours. The shifts can be long and if a cashier all day, extremely boring. Customers can be rude.
