Pros

if you enjoy customer based jobs this is ok. The pay is higher than other retail. The day goes quick as you are very busy doing a variety of jobs. Each store will be a different experience depending on having a good team.

Cons

The store i worked at had 3 people off sick. 2 had bad backs. you are expected to be working fast on the till very quick without much training. you have to do all store jobs, cleaning, till, stockroom, shelve filling,

Pros

Excellent pay structure with great benefits. Able to learn all aspects of the job really quickly by hands on and the training provided.

Cons

Lack of training makes one feel as if there are not valued. Also progression opportunities are very limited for staff in stores, as too many people are recruited from outside the company.

Pros

A growing company that is looking to invest in its colleagues and store. Pay is also above the average that you would expect regardless of what position you are applying for.

Cons

Older staff that have been there 6 years plus, are not very helpful. They can be a bit bitter towards you all because you have been put in a higher position than them. Also Lidl seem to be able to make some of the most simplest jobs complicated.
