Pros

Clear vision and mission. High development culture. Surrounded by passionate leaders. Constant opportunities to grow and get better. You will be appreciated and cared for. Positive work environment.

Cons

Not necessarily a "con" but in order to grow, you have to get uncomfortable. That can be a difficult adjustment to make.

I can't believe I get to do this!

Pros

Not only is this the greatest mission in the world (to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ), this is the best place to work. You are cared about as a person, not just an employee. The development you get is top-notch. Leaders from all over the organization pour into you and invest in you as though you're their responsibility. You work hard, but it's totally worth it.

Cons

There are many seasons that demand a lot of overtime. It's manageable and not inconsistent with overtime requirements of other jobs, but it's up to the individual to maintain a healthy perspective.

Pros

I never thought in my entire life I'd find a place so fulfilling to work at as Life.Church. I've truly found my purpose and calling here. I guarantee that decades from now, no matter what season of life I find myself in, I will always be able to look back on my time at Life.Church as a season where I grew more, learned more, developed more as a person and leader than any other time in my life. Leadership development is a constant here. The feedback culture is very high, so you'll never be left guessing where your opportunities are. This place is absolutely a value-driven culture. One of my personal favorites is that "we will laugh loud hard and often. Nothing is more fun than serving God with people you love." It is 100% true here. Beyond the team experience, I know Life.Church cares wholeheartedly about my spouse and family. My spouse has known he is part of the mission from the beginning, whether he's serving on the weekend or at home supporting me and celebrating the stories of life change with me. My marriage is stronger and my faith deeper because I get to work here.

Cons

Change is also a constant, and sometimes that means giving up team relationships regularly or after a short amount of time. With those fast team transitions comes a need for excessive relational resilience. You have to be able to grow and deepen new friendships quickly if you want to look back at any period of time and say you had support and had the opportunity to know others as well.
