Leadership imposes tight deadlines without considering the impact on employee well-being. Burnout is common, and managing it is expected to be the employee's responsibility, rather than a concern for leadership. The values of YouVersion do not always align with the values of LifeChurch, which can lead to confusion and frustration for employees working across both entities. The company operates with a top-down approach, leaving little room for employees to contribute their ideas or have a say in the projects they work on.
