Pros

I love serving at my church through the role of pastor. Caring for people who take time out of their busy day to serve God through LC is a privilege. Life.Church has great benefits (401K Match & insurance) too.

Cons

Culture varies wildly from campus to campus so you could have very different experiences depending where you land. The job is much more task driven than you would expect or were told. You are often asked to do things that are outside of your job description. If you think of it more as you are here to fully serve the church in any capacity they ask and you'll do great.

Pros

Leadership integrity, mission-focused, people- centered, unlimited growth opportunities, fast paced, value-driven, family-friendly, strategic mindset with a caring heart.

Cons

Consistent growth and pace requires high levels of self-discipline and motivation. Ministry work is messy, because people are messy. The grind of dealing with people's brokenness can take a toll on you especially if you struggle with setting healthy boundaries and rhythms of rest.

Pros

Working at Life.Church has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. There’s a real heart behind everything we do, it’s not just talk. People genuinely care about making an impact and reaching others in a way that matters. The culture is strong, positive, and growth-minded. Leaders invest in you as a person, not just in what you produce. You feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. The best part, though, is the people. Getting to do ministry every day with others who are all in on the same mission is incredibly rewarding. There’s a shared passion to reach people nobody is reaching, and that gives a deep sense of purpose to the work.

Cons

The pace of growth can be fast, which is exciting, but it also means things can change quickly and you have to stay flexible. As a large organization that is still growing rapidly, there are moments where processes are still catching up, so you have to be comfortable navigating some ambiguity.
