All that Glitters isn't Gold

Pros

Great hospitality while in office. Company sponsored trips, and events. Employees at the headquarters were very professional.

Cons

Favoritism with employees with military experience. Even when they preform at a lower rate, and are at times disrespectful. Voiced that our concerns mattered, but showed little to no interest in mitigating those issues. Treated those working on contracts with less value, although they are the ones putting in the labor so you all can sit comfortably in your corner offices. Management did not listen to our concerns/reports/reviews and were not honest about our positions within the company.

There are better places to work

Pros

A job that pays. That's about it.

Cons

Extremely high turnover in our engineering team. On our team of 2, the positions had been filled 6+ times in less than a 2 year period. Negotiate hard on salary. The recruiters act as if they are offering you top dollar - if you accept what they offer, you'll find out you have co-workers earning significantly more than you (especially if you are female). Managers stall when you ask them for a raise - despite you proving your worth - and proving that you are significantly underpaid. Only 2 weeks of PTO per year. If this is a family friendly company (and best place to work), take care of your employees and give them more time off to spend with their kids. Benefits are high deductible, or only covered at 70%. Consider offering a better plan for your employees.
