LCE Good but not Great

Pros

Tons of support, Big Company culture. Hand off management style, contractor type of work. Benefits 401k, dental, vision and healthcare (Cigna), bonuses. They give out yearly bonuses, however I cannot verify this since I still have not completed a year time. Perfect for a first job.

Cons

Contractor type of work. No clear organization due to that, your actual boss is not your boss since they will not give you tasks. Your job is to meet their clients demands. Usual Client is government identities. Depending on who your client is it can be great or horrible. No competitive Pay. You can get paid more elsewhere.

Very open ended work, Got a lot of freedom with solution design. Manager tried really hard to get me a permanent position but there was a lot of red tape with the Customer

Cons

Pay, Unorganized, confusion in chain of command

Pros

The pay and flexibility that company provides is good and is welcomed. Company culture is ok although this is usually extended those who work at a head quarters and not on client site.

Cons

The H&W benefits leave more to be desired and pale in comparison to some of the other well known Defense Industry providers. Extremely heavy bureaucracy both internally along with supporting preferred customer (Department Of Defense) so be sure to have thick skin. When it comes to IT services, more specifically in the realm of security this company still has a long way to go in order to be competitive and obtain the more lucrative work.
