Pros
I have been gainfully employed by Life Extension for over a decade and have been witness to incredible growth in the organization. It is really telling of a company when there are several employees who have been here for over thirty plus years.
We are well-compensated, paid above market, provided with benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) and on top of that we receive an annual bonus based on work merit. Even through the pandemic, we received our annual raise/bonus.
There is a healthy, intentional culture that has the best aspects of a stable enterprise. The environment and culture continue to evolve into an employee-centric organization. Leadership interacts with their employees; the CEO hosts a bi-annual townhall in which he both shares the current state of affairs and also fields any questions that may arise.
I have been provided the tools to not only be successful but thrive in my career. They treat me well and provide enrichment and autonomy. My coworkers are genuine, honest, humble, thoughtful and seriously talented individuals who share the same mission which continues to keep me motivated and engaged. I tell folks often - I plan to retire with this company.
Cons
Since its inception Life Extension has been a customer-first organization that truly understands the importance of keeping a high employee morale high. They have been conscientiously engaged on boosting Workplace morale. Finding ways to adapt to current climate and make impactful changes to provide a better work/life balance. Executive leadership is aware of what needs to be improved and streamlined, and hopefully they continue on the right path.
