Pros

Making your own schedule is a nice perk. That may be the only positive that I can take away from my time here.

Cons

Worked for LifeStorage for a few years now, I had high hopes coming in originally but those dissipated pretty quickly after. They cut our pay by changing the bonus/commission structure, and claimed it was to our benefit. Very cheap company from an employee point of view Worked there for years and never once received even a modest cost of living raise, despite being promised repeatedly. It doesn't matter how well you do your job, there is very little chance for advancement

Pros

Welcoming environment with nice customer service in person and over the phone.

Cons

The former employees of LifeStorage can contest to the cons of this company. Upper management will manipulate the system in order to make gains for them selfs. They curve every conversation and or email to make sure they are covered in the sense. Upper management will promise the world to the employees and have them hold on for as long as possible before their employees realize t is not happening. The turn around for entry level management in the last year or so has been great because employees are seeing a pattern. When anyone would bring up any issues to as to the concerns of their employees they smile and ensure they do everything they can. Bottom line is do not say one thing and do another.
