      Pros

      Great job for High Schoolers who need a part time gig. I worked in the kids Activities department for 4 years and became a supervisor so lots of opportunity to move up. I made a lot of friends working there.

      Cons

      The pay is awful. They literally never give raises and even if you are in management you make less than a dollar more an hour. Management was horrible with constant expectations that were absurd. They like to make you take tons of online courses and come to endless meetings.

      Scheduling with staff over 30 4x a year, managers hours work required due to 24/7, lack of team work, lack of communication within the club and departments

      Pros

      Good people, good community, great if you have a good manager. I had many different managers and was about 1 for 5 in terms of managers that make you want to work hard. Even when I had a good manager he was still unable to pay me more because of extreme budget constraints.

      Cons

      Don't recognize employees well. Don't give many opportunities for advancement. I watched GMs and DHs come and go over the course of my 6 years. At the end of my time there, I believe there were about 4 people who had been there longer than I (High turnover). They also like to give more and more responsibilities and never pay you more or give you a promotion. Twice I was given a promotion in name only which doesn't translate to more money. I never felt very valued.
