Pros

The members have a lot of money which means almost all of them can afford training. They are cutting edge when it comes to health and wellness.

Cons

The management is money driven and will not stop pushing you all the way up to the end of the month. They increase your sales goal every month even if you have a full plate of clients. They will go out of the scope of practice telling you to sell blood testing which is not morally right for a fitness trainer to do. They will make you work on your day off if you haven't reached your sales goal even if you have already made plans on those days in advance. If you want to feel like a fitness trainer working in a used car dealership Lifetime is the place for you if you want to help people and make a good living look elsewhere for a job.

Do Not Work Here

Pros

They give you a free membership you will usually be too burnt out to use.

Cons

We have never gotten breaks and are now forced to clock out when eating a sandwich for 2 min. Worst company I've ever dealt with. They treat their employees like slaves and don't care about anything but the bottom line, money. The CEO Bahram made $17 million over the last 2 years and yet can't afford to let his employees eat at work or pay them time and a half when we work on Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July. Everyone who works here is miserable. Go work at McDonald's, you'll get paid more and probably have more fun.

Pros

Coworkers were fantastic and the job was fun. I loved the gym atmosphere and loved the free membership. My managers were great with schedules and responding to any questions about the job.

Cons

It was a little bit disorganized when it came to dealing with outside training we had to get done before we started work. The job also pays minimum wage for part time employees.
