Thank you for your review of of LifeNet Health and experience with us! We have an amazing staff and ensure we provide them with exceptional pay and benefits. Tissue Recovery is an important and critical department in supporting our mission of Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. They are very busy around the clock responding to the needs of donors and their families which requires them to work on call and sometimes long hours. We thank you for working so hard to support our mission!

Pros

Helping others, meeting new people, additional pay depending on case activity, benefits are ok. Learn many skills and become knowledgeable in anatomy. Acquire great critical thinking skills.

Cons

Demanding hours, on call required, long working hours with no shifts, can be on call up to 72 hours straight, health insurance is more expensive every year, must travel but locally with a team. If you don’t like the mission of the job or the type of work you won’t last long. No advancement opportunities within department
