      Pros

      If you believe in the mission, it feels good to contribute to. Coworkers are all lovely people–feels like a tight-knit second family since we all spent so much time working together. The management in the Northwest is approachable and friendly, but can feel disconnected from headquarters in Virginia Beach.

      Cons

      Work-life balance can challenging, especially in production and recovery positions. On-call hours can be demanding and overtime is not only expected, it is often the norm. This can be great when you're young and single, ready to work a ton of hours for the OT to add up. Not such a great thing when you have a family and feel like you hardly see them.

      Excellent company with great benefits and strong, respectable mission focused on saving lives and giving hope to families who have lost loved ones. Fast paced environment and very rewarding.

      Long non-profit history of solid management, horizontal team structures, strong benefits, healthy work family environment, and organizational culture that inspires staff towards fulfilling the company's mission of saving, lives, restoring health and giving hope.

      Cons

      Could benefit from more remote positions where applicable.
