Pros

I came from a company where the culture and support just weren’t there, so the difference stepping into this role has been incredible. From day one, the culture here felt different in the best way. It’s not just talk about “positive environment” or “teamwork.” Leadership truly lives it — they’re boots on the ground when needed, approachable, and genuinely supportive. They understand the uniqueness and emotional weight of being a hospice nurse, consistently express appreciation, and value honest feedback. Lifespark has also been impressive on a bigger scale. They actively recognize gaps in the healthcare system and community and work to create real solutions for patients. Seeing that commitment up close has made me even more proud to be part of the team. Pros: • Genuinely positive, supportive culture • Leadership that shows up and helps • Competitive pay • Healthy work-life balance Overall, this has been such a positive change for me. It feels good to work somewhere that prioritizes its people and recognizes that we’re humans doing difficult work.

Cons

Like any growing company, some processes are still evolving — but feedback is welcomed and taken seriously.

Pros

-Very organized and welcoming onboarding. You feel supported right away. -Mission driven organization that truly wants to be the best at what they do. -The organization’s whole philosophy is built around doing things differently than the typical healthcare rollercoaster. The focus is on preventing hospitalizations and providing a more complete model of care that benefits both clients and staff. -Coworkers are very intelligent, kind, and easy to collaborate with. You can tell people are here for the right reason, the members. -Transparent communication and approachable leadership. -Strong team culture. It’s easy to ask questions and get help when you need it. -Really good pay with decent benefits. Overall, I feel like staff are very well taken care of. -The work feels meaningful and aligned with my values.

Cons

-There are fairly frequent changes and updates, which can sometimes be hard to keep up with. -There’s a learning curve at the beginning with systems and processes. -Because the model is different from traditional healthcare, it can take time to adjust if you’re coming from a more typical setting.
