Pros

- Challenging projects that are especially rewarding to see through to completion - Good communication and relationships with peers below "Leadership" - Very little micro-management

Cons

- Systems department is run very poorly - Not viewed as a person, just a resource to be thrown around. People understand very quickly that leadership members (VPs) do not care about you. - No work/life balance, expectation to always be available day/night/weekend. I've seen a VP take away a full teams weekend last second and laugh about it to their faces. - Very little promotions, only movement is lateral shifts internally to different departments out of systems - Below average compensation package
