Corporate (Lincoln Group) is great, but that's about it

Cons

Unorganized, poor pay, management doesn't know what they're doing, poor benefits, no room for advancement, poor communication between management and staff, management likes to play favorites

Pros

I have been with Lincoln over 20 years. In that time it has grown from a small privately held company to a publicly traded corporation. The most rewarding part of the job is helping students achieve their goals and graduate to become productive members of society. The job can be challenging balancing the needs of education with the needs of the shareholders but it is always rewarding. The company has always been supportive of my assessment of the students needs when it comes to equipment and tools. Paid time off and vacation time is equal or better than other companies.

Cons

I think workers would support less salary increases for more affordable benefits.

Pros

You are helping people to change their lives everyday. Never a dull moment. There is continuing education to ensure representatives are always compliant with DOE regulations.

Cons

Hours are very long, and start dates are continuous. There is no work life balance. The only way to be successful is to put in many hours on a continuous bases. Taking a few days off sets you back from your year to date goal.
