Thank you for sharing your experience with Lindamood-Bell. We're glad you found the workplace engaging and appreciated the training. Regarding the cost of instruction, we understand that our learning centers can be expensive, even with discounts and tuition assistance. However, Lindamood-Bell is committed to making our programs accessible to all students. Through Lindamood-Bell for Schools, we offer our courses to educators globally, enabling them to implement our methods in their classrooms and support struggling students. We regret this aspect wasn't clear during your employment. We value feedback like yours, as it helps us improve our communication. Thank you again for your review, and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

You can play games and feel like you have an impact. There is lots of variety when you're trained in more programs and those can give you a desperately needed break.

Cons

You must maintain high energy, good boundaries, and efficient control over back-to-back fast-paced lessons. It's challenging and there has been a severe lack of support and behavior training. There are no additional pay raises for almost all of the additional programs clinicians are later taught: OCN (math), talkies (how to talk), LBA (academy core, ELA, science and social studies), or scoring (calculating official test results) on top of SI and VV (reading & comprehension). It's still $21 an hour as of 2023. Clinicians are basically "on call" during the whole morning/afternoon or both. They can't have a regular day off and it's hard to get approval to regularly arrive/leave at a different schedule. If you are scheduled off for an extra hour anywhere within the day, they can suddenly remove it without notice. You can't plan to keep long lunches, late arrives, or times you leave early because you could suddenly be scheduled. This happened quite often with days or even just minutes before I was scheduled to be off. I was informed by Amanda that if I want to ensure an hour off, I have to officially use my medical/vacation time, even if they already have me scheduled off for that hour.
