      Pros

      You really are changing lives. You get to make learning magical! And every student is different, so it doesn't always look the same. Management cares a lot about staff development.

      Cons

      You have to smile through the stress. You have to. It's not generally stressful, but when it is, that smile is very hard to keep in place. And it has to be a genuine smile. No fake smiles. But that's true of any service job where image matters.

      Gain valuable experience​ working with students with learning differences through a very unique methodology.

      Cons

      While you gain experience working with students with learning differences, you will not be able to get any letters of recommendation from anyone at the site.

      Pros

      It's fun getting to know the students and their stories. Plus you work with awesome people. The weekly staff meetings helped to facilitate needed communication. Overall I felt the management did a good job at sharing their vision with the staff and allowed us to all enjoy our job.

      Cons

      Sometimes the days can get long.
