Leadership is trash

Pros

The kind children and staff. Only the kind ones. They're not all kind.

Cons

Leadership only cares about money. You have to harass them for breaks. Too many cons to list.

Pros

This technically is an opportunity to experience teaching children with great need (for all you bleeding hearts out there)

Cons

Dull program that children have a hard time getting behind. Exhausting - new hires are expected to fulfill the roles of trained behavior therapists (whose licenses require 1000 hours of supervised experience each) with nothing in their arsenal but dollar store trinkets and "stars." Imbalanced division of labor and political environment. Nepotism, poor opportunities available for employees seeking to advance through merit.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Lindamood-Bell. While we appreciate your perspective, certain descriptions conflict with our practices. For example, we provide ongoing training on helping students stay on task, and the corporate instruction department provides additional guidance for any student who needs an individualized plan for engaging in sessions. We also work with a student’s outside team of professionals whenever possible. Setting the stage for success is core to our approach. We are concerned that our protocols for behavior management are possibly not being followed by the learning center. While we appreciate your candor in this forum, we suggest you share your specific concerns with your supervisor or the Human Resources Department at support.hr@lindamoodbell.com or (805) 546-5693.
